I wonder if anyone else actually has this problem. :/ Because I actually find this happening to me very often LOL. ANNNNNND because of this problem, I don't have much photos to post up on DA and some of the other social network sites. OTL
Like, I see many other of my cosplay friends having so many shoots in a year and I sometimes wonder how they can actually afford so much time and effort to dedicate themselves to this many shoots. D: It applies to both casual and cosplay shoots.
I guess i'm probably lacking the drive to push myself to have a shoot. If i have the drive to have a shoot and plan for it, I would have more photoshoots! oAo
There would definitely be other elements that contribute to the lack of photoshoots: like the lack of money LOL. I have to work and save up so I can buy materials for cosplay outfits OR to buy casual outfits that fit the theme of my casual shoot. Next comes the element of time as well, because it takes time to prepare for a shoot. It depends on how much effort you'd want to put into the shoot as well.
There's a saying which goes like, "Success take hard work, luck and time". And that's actually pretty true.
For a photoshoot to actually SUCCESSFULLY take place, you need time to commit to the preparations of the shoot. That includes location recces, preparing the outfit, planning the theme, thinking about and trying out various make up styles to suit your theme (or character), etc. Then comes the planning of the shots, which you have to do so by communicating with your photographer. owo The worst thing to happen in any shoot is miscommunications with the photographer, really. Never ever let that happen.
And during the whole commitment process of the shoot, you have to work hard to prepare for the shoot. Even if you're given a long time to do the preps, nothing will really happen if you don't have hard work in the equation. If you're not willing to work hard for this shoot that you're in, no amount of time can make the shoot work lol. And if you're willing to put in a certain amount of hard work for the shoot, the shoot will take less time to happen as well.
The luck part of the photoshoot usually depends on the weather haha. I guess we've all had times when rain came at unwanted moments. OTL But sometimes rain may just play an important part in your shoot, and it doesn't arrive. D: So it all depends on your luck for the day in order to let the shoot run smoothly. xD
Anyways, I don't know why i ended up talking about this. I guess i was fed up seeing the lack of photos that i have. Maybe i should start saving up for future shoots already. owo
